Travel Gadget of the Week: Fish Take to the Skies

OK, so don’t expect to look up and see Big Mouth Billy Bass flying over head anytime soon, but the future of air travel might owe something to our aquatic neighbors.

The SmartFish, designed by a Swiss aeronautical team, has moved into the small prototype phase. If the SmartFish aircraft ever grows to full-size it could, according to designers, transport two passengers at speeds of 560 mph. Designers also claim it will use less fuel than a car.
