What’s all the whoop-de-doo? Well, it seems Ireland’s Ryanair ran a provocative advertisement for back-to-school fares, featuring a uniform-clad schoolgirl. So what, you say? Well, we’re not exactly talking about a 3rd-grader here, and we’re not exactly talking about your average uniform (the killjoy nuns at my school never allowed midriff-baring blouses). Yep, it seems Delta has stirred up a fuss with its ad for winter getaways. The folks at Flyer Talk are getting all hot and bothered by it.
I dunno, the bikini-ed beachgoer doesn’t look all that provocative to me, but then I sometimes turn on the TV or go on the internet and see many bad things.
But, I have to say, what are the airlines thinking? Using the female form as an advertising vehicle? Next thing you know, they’ll be claiming that “sex sells”. Whatta world…
