Frenchman Strikes Flight Attendant

Filed under: Passengers, Flight Attendant — mike @ 2:18 pm

I try to give the French the benefit of the doubt. I really do. Theirs is a beautiful country, and the fact that I can say “I’m going to the mountains with my cousins after dinner” in French has served me well over the years.

Of course, sometimes one rotten pomme can spoil the whole barrel…

“A passenger struck a flight attended, causing his New York-to-Paris flight to be diverted to Boston, where the man was arrested, authorities said…A French national, Ansoumane Conde, was taken into custody, State Police Lt. Eric Anderson said. It was not immediately clear what charges would be filed.” (From MSNBC)

Luckily, no one was injured. As for US-French relations—that remains to be seen.
