Tape is the Airline’s Ally (against unruly passengers, anyway)

Can one little woman halt a mega-ton aircraft? You bet – especially if she’s been drinking! Or so it’s been alleged.

Here’s the deal: A planeload of people flying from Puerto Rico to Chicago had to make a little detour in Charlotte over the weekend, because our heroine allegedly “slapped a crew member on the buttocks”, “pulled the hair of a blind passenger” and – here’s my favorite – “invaded the personal space” of other passengers. Not to mention miscellaneous touching and jabbing.

So, the flight crew got out the ol’ duckduct tape and went to work.

Upon landing in North Carolina, the woman was arrested – good bye, duct tape – hello, metal cuffs!

And once again, our old pal “Mr. Alcohol” is suspected of being an unindicted co-conspirator.
