<p style="padding-bottom: 8px">Anyway, you go to the <a href="http://4320la.com/"><strong>V website</strong></a>, and they&#8217;ll explain how you tweet about why you want to enter &#8211; and then you are sent to Los Angeles, where you vie against other Twittering teams (not sure why you have to go there to do it &#8211; sort of blows the whole point of a trip to LaLaLand). Anyway, the winning team gets the round-the-world trip.</p>
<p style="padding-bottom: 8px">Of course, by this time, you&#8217;ve probably used up all your available vacation, and will no doubt have to pass the trip along to some deserving person (she said, humbly and earnestly). Get going, it all starts this month.</p>

<p style="padding-bottom: 8px">They never did find them &#8211; and eventually the plane was fumigated and returned to service.</p>
<p style="padding-bottom: 8px">Poor snakes &#8211; they met nearly as ignominious an end as <a href="http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=snakesonaplane.htm"><strong>Mr. Jackson&#8217;s movie</strong></a>.</p>

<p style="padding-bottom: 8px;margin:0px">Not that sitting on an ice floe overnight was a walk in the park. Temperatures could best be described as &#8220;high-end refrigerator&#8221; &#8212; you know &#8212; Sub-Zero.</p>
<p style="padding-bottom: 8px;margin:0px">Anyway, along comes daylight, and they &#8212; get this &#8212; <strong>hopped from one ice sheet to another</strong>, til they finally reached the shore (at Iqaluit, Nunavut). Eventually a passing fishing boat saw them and picked them up.</p>
<p style="padding-bottom: 8px;margin:0px">Tough guys.</p>
