And Mike got suckered into…I mean, Mike happily volunteered for this duty, which will have him flying to the 48-contiguous states, in just 12-days, starting tomorrow!!!! (FareCompare is doing this…part shameless self-promotion, part highlighting air travel woes…and good stuff, too).Why do we call him “Grumpy”? Cuz he will be by the time this is over!!!

This is exactly the kind of thing Martha would pop her glue-gun over, but, don’t laugh…it works.

Here’s the deal: gotta fly in December? And there’s a million things at home to do? Take it with you. Not the turkey you have to cook but, how about Christmas cards?

Bring your cards, stamps, a list of addresses, and do em up while waiting for your flight (or while sitting out delays); I’ve done it. I’ve also brought wrapping paper and tape to do up those presents you have to leave unwrapped for our friends at TSA, but you may not want to go that far. But cards! Lists of things to buy! Do this work.

It passes the time, and gives one that Martha-like feeling of accomplishment. Enough said.

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

Time to feast on the ceremonial bird and drift off to sleep in the middle of the day. Ahhh, the holiday season.

If you’re traveling over the next few days, it could be a little crazy out there. So be careful and don’t let the security lines get you down.

Oh, that Matt. What, you’re Stephen King now? Always trying to get us riled up with something (and it works; we read drudgereport.com religiously).

And, yes, he’s right, the weather for Thanksgiving travel is not looking so hot in certain parts of the country but them’s the breaks.

If you had done everything my boss over at FareCompare has been telling you to do for the past 6-months, you wouldn’t have any worries. Well, you wouldn’t have so many. Besides, Mr. Drudge…turkey doesn’t spoil that quickly.

Folks show up late, a day, couple days, big deal. Leftovers. Mmmm.

For shame! But it’s not too late to save money…IF you buy your tickets before Nov. 7. That’s assuming you want to fly in on the Wednesday before. If you want to get there Tuesday, well, YOU do the math. I’m no rocket scientist.
